Homepath-Do we have the right to ask for confirmation from listing agent that our bid was submitted? We submitted our highest best offer for a Homepath First Look home two days ago. The listing agent is very well known in our area for not being organized and not doing her job correctly. We had called several times before submitting an offer to find out information on the house and after ten days, she FINALLY called us back only to tell us that she couldn't answer ANY of our questions because we already had an agent. We had our agent call her to get our questions answered, and the listing agent never returned her calls. We finally decided four days ago to have our agent submit a cash offer and two days later, they asked for highest and best so we upped our bid to be $2000 over asking price. We called the listing agent only to ask that she send us a confirmation that our bid was submitted, and she said that she could again NOT speak to us because we were represented by another agent. We had our agent call her and request confirmation and once again she isn't returning her calls or emails. How can we be CERTAIN that our bid was actually submitted to Homepath? Also, if the listing agent stated that she set a deadline for highest and best, does this mean after the deadline that no other bids may be submitted? Thanks so very much for any and all responses!August 08 2014 - Anderson00YesReport a ProblemProblemSelect oneOffensive contentIrrelevant contentSpam (pure self-promotion)OtherDetailsYour emailPlease enter a valid email address.Submit CancelContent flaggedWe will review this content.
