Your home here sounds very unique, beautiful and on a lake. Zillow doesnt do well with these types of homes, especially on large lots.
Your zestimate may be interfering with the sale of our home.
That really would not make sense since your home is listed for $899K (Realtor.com) and youre appraisal is $860K, and the Zestimate is so much lower. Obviously the appraiser did not take the Zestimate into considerations or the appraisal would have been much lower, and appraisers just dont look at Zestimates, nor do buyers, especially since there is so great of a discrepancy. It seems like your asking prices is now in the ball park with the worth of the home.
Your Zestimate is low because the median sale price of a home in Cambridge, MD, is $123K , see the chart here.
House for sale - zillow $250,000 low on bank appraisal.
