How I recently bought a home but the lisiting does show that it was sold? How do I update that.

If the house was listed with an agent, ask them to cancel it. It will then prompt the agent to mark the house as sold. If not listed with an agent, claim the house and you can then report to Zillow that the home has been sold. Good luck and congratulations.

I'm a bit confused with your question.   Is it possible that there was a typo in the sentence?

If the house still appears to be for sale, then the agent needs to remove the listing.   

If the house is not showing as for sale, but the "sold" price hasn't yet appeared, be aware that information comes from your local government office that records those things, and it takes time for them to appear in the database.  I've seen it in as little as four weeks and as long as six months in the three houses I've monitored.

If neither of these is your question, please clarify.
