Nice vid, and possibly okay to post on Zillow...right until you make a pitch for the viewer to contact you and plaster your name and contact info across the vid. At that point, you crossed over into "self-promotion" territory - and Zillow has a pretty firm line on that one.
None-the-less, the vid itself was an interesting attempt to get basic info across.
Cheers

Your self promotion belies your professionalism.

Brain, is there a question in there somewhere? You do realize that this is not the place for blogs or vlogs, don't you?

This is my first time and am a little lost as where to post the VLOG. Wanted it to go to non-agents obviously.
Vince, not self promotion, required by local PA law as disclosure. This video is up on my YouTube site and created for other media avenues and not specifically zillow.com.
Thanks SoCal and Maria.

Brian: It looks like the moderator removed the link so I can't see it to comment specifically, but there are a couple of possibilities from things Zillow has mentioned previously:
a. Put a link to it in your profile.
b. Edit the video to remove the self promotional parts.

VLOGs are borderline promotion, best left on your BLOG or website, not here. If every agent did them it would spoil this Advice column.
VLOGs are a good idea, just not here, as many ideas for VLOGs, or Blogs, and copied over and over by many agents and REA marketing services.
If you want to promote your HERE, post your VLOG in the CONTACT area, with your website and Blog. Then professionally answer questions posted by owners here, and if people think you are smart, or local, or whatever, they will click on your Contact area and see your website, VLOG, whatever, and contact you to sell their house or to buy one. The more I appear professional here, and elsewhere, the more contacts I recieve.

Your Zillow profile page is a great place for VLOGs. It also allows people who are just curious about you and your knowledge base to learn more about you and see you in action so to speak.

How a $30 part can cost you a closing...
