How can I get the square footage on my house on zillow adjusted?

I have asked this question several times with no repsponse.  I would really appreciate a response this time.  My house shows up on zillow as being only 1794 sq ft. when it is actually around 3300.  Several of the houses in my neighborhood have similar errors.  How can I get this changed in zillow?  Or can you tell me where zillow got this information so I can have it fixed.  As a result, many of the house zillow values show up very low and this could impact outr ability to sell our house if people are using zillow as a guage.  I realize the real estate market has declined significantly over the last few years but it seems like the zillow values of our homes are being detemined based on the significantly lower sq ft amounts.  Can you please help my get this information adjusted?

Hi Seanlaur,

Zillow obtains their information from property tax records.  You can contact the town of Yorktown to verify what the square footage is for your property.

Once you "claim" your property as the owner, you can "edit" the information about your house.
