The timing from tax records is variable so I wouldn't hold my breath, but you do have a choice to claim your home and edit the home square footage yourself to get the ball rolling on Zestimate updates. Please see response to your other post.

The only caveat is that it tends to take a good 6 to 8 weeks for the adjustment to take full effect. They phase it in to keep people from "gaming" with zestimates.

Thanks again for your superfast help. I only hope we can get the update reflected soon.

How can I have Zillow update their Zestimate formula to reflect my correct square footage?
Our county database had our home's square footage incorrectly listed as 2,688. The actual square footage is 2,926 per the Shelby County Assessors office. They assessed the square footage over 4 months ago. Please update the Zestimate formula so your Zestimate is accurate. Thanks!
