How can I narrow down the search for home foreclosures, or recent sales, etc, to the city or county

Profile picture for RussellTan
Hi,
I don't want to see all of the info for California, its just too much info and I can't spend days just finding one listing.  I need to narrow the search down by town and preferably by neighborhood (as in a map to pinpoint the area).
Also, I was told there is a tool on here to show me which way the prices are trending and how much in a neighborhood, but I don't see it.
Thanks for your help,
Ron

Hi Ron:  welcome to Zillow.

In response to your questions:

Narrowing down to a town: when you click on the "homes" in the top line, type in the search line the town name or the Zip code as per this example.   then, go to the filters and enter price, size and other things you wish to filter.

Price trends:   also in the top line, you'll see the words "Local Info".  Click on it and type in the town name, or zip code as per this example.

I hope that gets closer to your goals, if not, please ask further questions.
