Hi Mangomama3:
There is a color-coded map feature on walkscore.com that may help you to narrow this down at least a little bit:
> On the Walkscore home page click on "Cities & Neighborhoods"
> Then click on the 'By State' Tab
> Click on your State's link
> Then click on the city that you want to search
> This brings up a city map that is color-coded based on the walking scores in this area.
> On the left you now have the option to narrow it down by Zip code to zoom in a bit more.  If you are not sure which zip code is where, you can also point at an area on the map and it will show you the zip code right above the map.  This is as far as it will let you zoom though - from here on it's manual input of actual addresses.

I hope this helps!
John

Go to www.walkscore.com and start entering addresses.  Then manually you'll come up with a rough outline.

Thanks for the answer. So how would I find areas with high walkability scores?

I've heard that is on the wish list, but not currently functional.    My manual approach was to print out a map are handscribble in areas with acceptable walk scores.  Of course, I did further filtering because some of the calculations of the walk scores aren't things that matter to my family.  (You can learn more at www.walkscore.com)
