If you have a steady stream of potential buyers(3+) a week then she's doing fine. This is just a good average and some weeks(holidays, etc.) can be slow. If you haven't received a legitimate offer within two months or less(your market will vary) then something probably needs to change. One way you can judge marketing is to try and find your house online. Also is the marketing appealing to you? Did you remember something that you love about your house that she could utilize in marketing? Basically you want every potential buyer who's looking for your area and price range and similar sizes to come see your house.

Ask her what she is doing to sell your house and then check to make sure it is being done. The next thing you can do is check with another REA to see what they would do to market your home. Just call one up and ask them what their plan is sell your house. You don't have to commit to anyone you interview. Once this is done compare notes and see if she is doing everything, and if other REA say they would do X and your REA isn't doing X, tell her to do X.

You can view her listings. Look outside or visit their homes. If it looks neat
outside and nice inside. Flyers are in the 4 sale sign
Also before you commit you can ask her to give you three former customers and asking if you can call them asking about her marketing skills.
Top agent may not be the best, as their interest is get you sign the contract. They have only 8 hours a day and 20 listings will limit to what they can do.
Ask what budget they plan to spend to market your home. Good agent will throw their own money up front market and work hard for you.
Advertising, virtual tour, staging(Shared or get them to pay so they will work harder for you). Open house. Get them put in writing and sign that they will actually do things they promised. After you sign the contract you need to monitor and give feedback to the agent.
If it does not sell after a promised date review the results and bring it up to the agent tell her what your concerns are.
Good luck.

Before you hired this agent, did you sit down and review the marketing plan with the agent? If so, pull out this marketing plan and review actual actions against the plan to see how things are going.
If you forgot to interview the agent and don't know what the marketing plan (and that seems to be the case with about 90% of sellers), sit down with the agent and catch up.

How can I tell my agent is doing all she can to market my house?
