How can a KWV home, no timeshare or foreclosure, have a 375 K Zestimate and sell for 50K?

Crazy good deal ? Sure enough, public records does show the last transfer was $50,000, though another one recently sold for $315,000. Sometimes transfers happen for private reasons, reasons we will never know. This home is not worth what it last transferred for, so dont worry. Value more like $315K - $375K.

A good idea is to GOOGLE any property in question. Googling this property shows it was NOT listed in any MLS, hence it was probably a family or friend transfer, ie I owe you $300K so sell it to me for $50K and we will call it even....

Transfers like this one WONT bring down the value of your home since they do not represent market value.

If you are truly intersted in the property contact a local realtor and ask them to provide you with the MLS and explain to you the reason for the pricing.

I suggest having a Realtor in the area pull up the MLS sales sheet and tax record. The sale price may be an error.

Many of the estimates on Zillow are just that, estimates, they are not always entirely accurate and may have misguided information. Ask a realtor for comparables on the property, that will give you the most accurate valuation of the value of the property.
