How can a value be lower than ASSESSSED Value?Marketable value is consistently higher than taxable vaule by 20-25%. My most recent tax statement with the taxable (assessed) vaule was 177,003. How can the approximate appraised value shown above be less? My assuption would be that this vaule shown above is about 4 years off. My appraisal last year was 163,559 BEFORE our 26x24 stick built garage was added. Latly, this home was never 4 bedrooms. The last listing agent was a knuckle-head.
