The national norm is to list homes on above ground sq.ft. (not including basements). Zillow zestimates do the same. In Utah, we include the basement in our calculations. Your neighbor went in and manually added their basement sq.ft. to the Zillow system and when Zillow updated, it recalculated their property to an overinflated value. You just changed your home's sq.ft. in the same manner, but Zillow has not updated the Zestimate yet. I don't work in your area, but I have the tools to provide you with a true estimate of your home's value if you would like.

How can this home have a value of 250K, when the home next doors with the same info is worth 100k +?
