How can you say these homes are car dependant when you are less than 1/4 mile from a Publix and Walg

There is a Walgreens on the corner of Olympia and Oxford Glen, a Publix on the corner of Oxford and Liberty Pike as well as a Jets Pizza, Chinese Restaurant, Nail Salon, Movie Rental store, Vet and Dentist.  Do you people not check on these things.  You have been told this for the past 45 days and yet not updated your comments.

Sherry,

Walgreens, Publix, Jet's Pizza, and New China are all taken into consideration with the 29 score on the walkscore.     Being close to two stores and two restaurants does not make a "walker's paradise".  Read how Walkscores work:

Walkscore: How it works
  • 25–49 = Car-Dependent: Only a few destinations are within easy walking range. For most errands, driving or public transportation is a must.

That describes this location.   A "few" places within walking distance.   I would tend to agree with their score.   I live in a place with a higher walk score than this place, with more stores and restaurants within a half mile, but still find I drive way too much.  Luckily I am renting currently and can move somewhere with a higher score quite easy.  When I buy I plan on being somewhere more walkable.

Here is the Walkscore  link for the location sherry is discussing: http://www.walkscore.com/get-score.php?lat=35.922743&lng=-86.797916&utm_source=zillow.com&utm_medium=ws_api&utm_campaign=ws_api&street=1211+Olympia+Pl+Franklin+TN+37067

The "walkscore" is not generated by Zillow, it is imported from the site http://www.walkscore.com/        Zillow does not have anything to do with generating the number, so no matter how often you complain to them they are unable to update the number even if it is 45 times over 45 days.
