You need to claim your home by following the instructions on the following link

Then you can add the improvements to the home

Keep in mind that even when you make your changes the zestimate is not going to show the accurate value of your home. ZIllow is not an appraisal site. They use data from public records to compute the zestimate and since TX is a non disclosure state, i.e. the sales data is not made public only loan amounts are, this skews the numbers and it makes the zestimate useless for us.
You can either hire a professional appraiser for about $400 to come up with the value of your house or you can ask a local Realtor to do a market analysis. Most of us provide this as a courtesy.
