When you figure this out please let me know. I have my neighborhood that I work extensively in my profile and I constantly answer questions etc. However I am still not showing up as one of the local experts. The person that does show up has fewer coments than I do. so the whole thing is a little perplexing.

It is very perplexing - what is even more perplexing is that I have put in several questions into Zillow, but I am getting no response. I will definitely share the knowledge if I ever get an answer!

I'm so frustrated with the 'local expert' system that I'm ready to give up on Zillow. I even called and spoke with a Zillow rep who wasn't able to help. It is frustrating to have more contributions and more listings than the current 'local expert' and yet, not receive the designation. There is nothing to show my actual track record of selling homes in my neighborhood. I have to wonder how an agent who has very little presence in my area can be called the local expert.
Uploading many photos (in a given geographic area) would make it more likely that you'd receive a local expert badge -- both on individual homes and on the neighborhood or city page that you specialize in.
I have been trying seriously hard for a short period of time. My profile is new, since october with this one.
Here is what I have found. http://www.zillow.com/profile/Michael-Lanitis. Someone with only 156 contributions to be an local expert. He has posted ONLY pictures. No feedback or anything and is a local expert in Moreno Valley, CA.
I am flustered. My profile is not even a month old and I have spent way too much time on zillow to get beat out by someone who just posts pictures.
I'm wondering how i can become a local expert also. I help a fellow agent and friend set up her Zillow page TODAY and she is a local expert! I've been a member of this site since Feb. I just dont get it. And i'm also curious as to how i become a Zillow All-Star. I'm not even sure what that means.

Hi, I'm having a hard time trying to find my listing/profile on Zillow. How do I become more easy for buyers and sellers to find. I service the Washington D.C. Metro Area, so I cover D.C., VA and MD. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks!
