No, some partial transfers show as 'sales' in Zillow, or even some refinancies, or whenever there is a change in title. You might check with your title company though and ask them for a preliminary title report.

I don't really think there's a reason to be concerned, but if the "sale" was not a true sale and was only a portion of the property value, you can use the small grey flag next to the transaction to let Zillow know that it was not a traditional sale, but a fractional investment interest only.
