Request or choose comps within a 1-2 mile radius that cover more of the specifications of you existing home. This might allow you to see more homes (sold comps) that compare closer to your home.

Yes, I see how to do what you've said, However, of the 50 selected houses, these are not the ones I need to add as comps because most of them are in Cleveland, not Shaker. And I certainly don't want to add a foreclosure as a comp.

You can refine the comps and choose - from our list - that are most similar to your home by editing your Owner's Estimate. To do so (while currently logged in to your account), click on the small Edit button beside your estimate on the property's Overview Page. On the next page, click to open Choose Comparable Homes then make your selection and hit Save. Furthermore, I would suggest publishing it to public so that other users can see the amount of upgrades done to your home.
