How do I delete a home from My Zillow. I erroneously claimed a home when I tried to show a friend..

I would like to know how can I 'unclaim' a home. I 'claimed' a home by mistake as I was trying to show my friend how to do it. I would like to remove it from 'My Zillow' listing as well. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi hvarma08 -

You may release home ownership by following these steps:

1. Log in to your account on Zillow.
2. Go to Favorite homes and click the address in question.
3. On the home details page, click on Release claim under the Tools section and follow the rest of the instructions.
4. Go back to My Zillow then Favorite homes.
5. Un-check the box "Get home report e-mail" and click on "Remove favorite".
