It really depends on what stage of the foreclosure process you want to step into.

If you want to buy short, before the foreclosure, some can be found by local real estate agents as they are picking up more of these listings, or by watching the county court web sites, or court paper for that area and look for notice of defaults.

At the next stage, at the foreclosure auction, you will want to monitor sherriffs web sites for their auctions.

There are advantages and disadvantages of each type of sale, and the process can take longer the typical person is willing to wait. Most of the time the bank purchases the home at sheriffs auction and then banks resale property at later date, thru auctions or REO agents. When you buy at sheriffs sale you are typically buying site unseen, which is a large risk, after market auctions usually permit inspections.

There are many agents and auctioneers that are  specializing in these types of sales.
