How do I find a private lender?

We are self employed and cannot get another mortage because of how the banks have tightened the ropes on the self employed. Our past 2 tax returns do not show enough profit from our business. Of course our gross income is high but till we take all available deductions our net profit is very low.

Did you try computing your "Adjusted Gross Income" after adding in the allowable deductions using a cash flow analysis worksheet? You might want your CPA to take another attempt at that possibility to lower your DTI Ratios.

Hard Money lenders are listed under Mortgage Brokers and also under Trust Deed Investments. Google a few zip codes near you. ... Good luck!
