Hello Gengis,
Most homes for sale in the US are on Realtor.com
You can start by going to www.realtor.com,
The link has "find a home "and there is a section that has search by MLS #. You should be able to find it.
It may not be as updated as a local consumer site. Our local Real Estate board inSiliconValley has a great consumer site. You can call a local Reatlor or call the local Real Estate board and see if your area offers a website.
Good luck,
Ruth Mistry

Google's free-form search is not well publicized yet as it is still in "beta testing"; but it is available to use. (No documentation yet though).
Use the "homes" tab above to get to the homes search page. In the address box, type the city, state and MLS #. Press "go"; it should find it right away!
Forget the spammer's website. Zillow provides what you need and are looking for.

You of course must find a great neighborhood Realtor but if you just want to do a little computer legwork. Feel free to use our home search on our website at [link removed by Zillow moderator]
Or give me a call if you want me to email you or do a search for you.
Good luck
Damon

By the way, Zillow is indicating 6831 homes for sale in Denver Colorado, and 9465 homes recently sold in Denver Colorado, for a total of 16,291 homes that may have reasonably current MLS numbers. So if one is getting 934,000 MLS numbers for the Denver MLS, either one is getting results that are not in Denver, or one is getting extremely old MLS numbers that are not relevant, or the agents are doing an extremely poor job of providing any "exposure" for their listings.
It is interesting to note that some of the Denver MLS numbers on Zillow are in the 934 thousand range, and some in the 834 thousand range, and others in the 120 million range, and some in the 42 thousand range. You cannot tell how many MLS listings there are by the magnitude of the MLS numbers.

Google Advanced searches work much better for finding MLS number on Zillow than previously now...
Set the search domain to:
http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/
Set the results per page to 100 and set "instant" - off.
Set the search phrase to "MLS number:"
Set your search words to the state (and/or city), and the specific number you are trying to find.
For example, all of Denver Colorado:
MLS numbers on Zillow in Denver Colorado
Google returns 648 MLS numbers. (Google states approximately 132,000, but it does much better on the estimated number if you narrow the search more, like actually typing in a MLS number).

There are several ways to find a property by the MLS #. I recommend finding a buyers agent to represent you. They will be able to provide you the most up to date information, which is crucial if you live in a competitive market like some areas of Denver. I found many websites to have teaser properties and when you go to find them the property has already sold.

I agree with the suggestion to use www.recolorado.com. I tell my buyers to use this site because it is the public version and most up to date for the Denver MLS. Today we are at 934000.

Find a Realtor to represent you. As your buyer's agent, He or She can give you all the correct information that you need. It's a free service.

The CEO of Zillow states that MLS search on Zillow is coming "soon". But with only 5 programmers, that "soon" can still be several months.

For a MLS# search I always use realtor.com It is he best site for up to date listings and offers MLS# searchability. Then you can come back to zillow for more information that site lacks.

Hi,
It looks like you already have some help on this, but another idea is to google the MLS number. Any number of websites should pull up the property details based on that number - and then you can use the address or additional information to find what you are looking for on Zillow. I hope that helps!

Use a professional Realtor as a Buyer's Agent. Your agent can then search the MLS. A buyer's agent doesn't cost the buyer anything. Typically the seller pays the commission for both listing agent and buyer's agent.

www.recolorado.com is our public MLS - the right side has MLS # input.

How do I find a property by MLS #?
