Lease to own homes are extremely rare, even more so when it isn't a buyer's market.   But, if you contact some agents in your area you may find that they are aware of some.

Some things to know about lease to own:

A significant, non-refundable down payment will be required upfront.   This may or may not count towards purchase price (depending on your contract).

The only amount going towards purchase is the amount you pay monthly above fair market rent.

If you are not eligible for regular financing at the time and price agreed in the contract, you get kicked out and lose all your money paid to date.

In general, identifying what stands between you and a regular purchase is far less risky and gives you much better chance of finding a home you'd want to own.
