How do I find out how much a house is assessed for if it is not on the county's assessors page?

It gives a parcel #, but no record is found. Is there another way to find it?

Call the assessor's office directly and speak to a clerk who can look up the information for you if it is not posted online.

Great question Terri.  You may of found your answer by now.  The assessors office is the best place to check.  I wanted to make sure you have the Beacon site for future searches.  I love this site and we use it on a daily basis.  www.vigocounty.in.gov  Be sure and click on the GIS Portal and then you can walk yourself through to the screen where you can input the address, owner's name or parcel number.  Good luck and don't hesitate to call if you have an further questions.

You don't need to post, Josh gave you the answer, just call the local tax office and ask for the assessment. You should be able to find it in the tax pages on line
