How do I find out if a house is still for sale

Unfortunately it takes a long time for Zillow to update the status of a house after it got sold. Is there a way without asking a real estate agent to find out if a house is still for sale?

You can contact the City in which the home is located or you can post the address here and one of us can look it up.

Good Luck

You can go to the county and see if there was a transfer. Or, you can post the complete address on Zillow and I can try to look it up to see if there was a sale.

Thanks for your question.  Not that I know of, why would you not want to contact a real estate office?  That is your best bet for the quickest and most efficient info as that is where all other info comes from.

Good luck.
