bwk--if you are looking in Northampton County, you are lucky because their tax/public records website www.ncpub.org is extremely up to date and robust. You can also go to the Lehigh Valley RE website: www.lehighvalleyarea.com if the house is for sale--their MLS is actually really good and it pulls tax data automatically and that will include Lehigh County as well as Northampton. You can also try contacting the tax assessor for the town the house is in but generally across the country you have to look for a statewide or county tax database and hope they update it.
I'm over in Jersey and our public records online are terrible and our MLS is only slightly better.

How do I find out the real estate tax on any given property
