Always call a local Realtor as Zillow has never seen the inside of the other comparable homes and has no idea of their true condition. Your home may be beautiful and full of upgrades, and the most recent sales that are included in Zillow are old, moldy, ugly, distressed properties. Always call a Realtor!

Contact a local Real Estate Agent who will be happy to meet with you and provide that information free of charge.

This is where you use a local agent, this is what they do.  Checking sold properties yourself will give you wrong results, what's publicly available leaves out expireds, under agreement, day-on-market, and other tools only realtors have.  Many agents will personally know the local properties and know why they sold fast, or slow, or high or low, and compare them to your home.

Call a local realtor  - better still, call 2 or 3.  They will evaluate the fair market value for free, and hope you will list it with them.

Depending on what you need the value for, I suggest contacting a local agent and asking for a comparable sales analysis of your home. 

You can visit our website to request one or check out recent home sales in your area.
