The County Assessor's office or WEB site is a very good source of information. Another possibility is your local Realtor. The listing data remains in MLS and the Realtor can quickly look up the property's history as well as provide you with additional information about the property such as tax and ownership data.

You should be able to obtain the information on-line, by going to your County Assessor's/Auditor's Web Site.

Go to the Town Hall in which the property is located. Be sure you have the proper address. They should be able to help you. Goodluck!
