How do I find someone to help me find a rental home?

I need to find a rental home in Phoenix and need help from finding options to settling the contract.

You should definitely call a realtor in the area.  Realtors can offer you the knowledge that you will not have when you are moving into a new area.
The landlord will pay the realtor's fee, so for the added protection you can get by using a realtor that makes it one sweet deal!

Hi. In the bay area we use Craigslist as the one stop shop for looking for rentals  - it gives you a great idea of the market - the different areas and expected rents. I am sure there is a craigslist in Phoenix. Also check out the yelp page for property management companies in Phoenix - it is the best way to check on how the general public perceives a company - it's reliability, can you trust them, do they actually find you a rental etc.
Good luck with your search.

Your best bet is to solicit rental agent referrals from your family, friends, and/or co-workers.  If you don't have a trusted local referral source, contact a local real estate office or one close to the area in which you are interested in renting a property and ask to speak to the duty agent, who will be happy to assist you with your rental search.
