Their should be a free online access available for your county appraisal district. You can type in the address and it will give you the owners name as well as their mailing address if it is different than the home address.

All are good answers. County records, call your local title company and ask them to help, call a realtor and see if they can help, drive by the property--maybe someone will be home, mail them a letter at that address!

Sometimes it's a simple as typing their address into a Google search. I've been amazed at what comes up sometimes. Works with phone numbers sometimes too.

The County Clerk should have a web site that will give you information on the property your are interested in.

Thanks to Bill and Sunnyview for answering this question.
The searchability and general availability of property owner names vary by assessment office throughout the United States. Some online assessment records are searchable by owner name and others are not. Some sites exclude the owner name from the record for personal privacy reasons. For example, in Virginia most online assessment records can be searched by owner name. One of the exceptions is Fairfax County, a core suburb of Washington, D.C., where many judges and folks in the clandestine services live.

One way is to go to the county website and follow the links to the tax records.

How do I find the name of an owner if all I have is the address
