You should talk to severalrealtors and find the one who you can relate to and has the knowledge to guide you through the process of selling you home.I must ask any seller today" why do they need to sell?" because mostseller are in distress and need to sell. If this is your situation then you need to find a realtor who is SFR certified. (Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Certified).If this is not your situation then make sure you like the person after you interview them.
Contact a Realtor familiar with your area. Any of the internet sites will not give you the correct estimate of what your house is really worth. You will be able to get true comparables of your property and those surrounding it with a licensed agent!
