How do I get a zestimated value for a house

I am looking at buying a house for investment purposes. I have been instructed by my trainer to get the zestimated value for the house and for renting the house. The house is 229 N Fairway Dr North Salt Lake, 84054.

It sounds like you are working off one of the "outside of the box" methods of buying and flipping that are sold in books and infomercials. Good luck with that. It is not an easy road
.
To find a Zillow estimate, go to zillow.com and put the address in the box that says "find homes". However, don't be surprised if you find that it isn't really the correct value. It is a computer generated value that is very general. The computer may be taking a wide range of unsimilar properties to arrive at a Zestimate. This is one of the reasons that appraisers are still in business. They tried to phase them out with computer generated valuations but were unsuccessful. Banks, when determining the list price of an REO (real estate owned-repo) often pay agents to do a "brokers price opinion". A computer generated estimate would cost them much less but it doesn't work.

This trainer must not be from Utah because here zestimated value means nothing. If you pay the zestimate on this property you'll be over paying. Sometimes zestimates are low and sometimes they're high. Utah is a non-disclosure state so this means that zillow and other companies like them can not get access to what houses are selling for. To get a more accurate estimate of value you'd need to talk to a Realtor or an Appraiser.
