How do I get auction information for the homes for sale by auction on Zillow? Are they cash only?

There's different kinds of real estate auctions, not all require cash but many do. There's a few sites out there like auction.com or hubzu that offer online auctions, and there's also court house auctions as well as broker specific and bank specific sell offs.   Because of that, you're best bet is finding an agent that has this experience, most auctions will pay the buyer broker fee as well.

Auction.com is a good site to check out. Zillow does not do the auctions. I have financed two clients who bought auctioned properties, but you have to be very strong credit/income/asset buyer or more than likely they will sell to cash buyers. This has been the typical experience.

Generally these properties are listed with a broker with whomyou can obtain auction rules, or you can contact a local Realtor who can generally get information the general public might not see.

Zillow does not typically list auction homes, its best to go to the website where the auction is being promoted...
