How do I get rid of alerts

Profile picture for jodice
I cannot get rid of the email alerts that I am no longer interested in. I can't find where to delete them. Also how come the searches I save are ignored? When I only want to see single family homes I keep getting lostings for trailer courts, apartments and condos etc. Is there a way to set up the search so I can eliminate short sales etc.?

This does not work for some reason.I deleted all of my searches, yet still keep getting alerts for homes I have no interest in. I even changed my email address and am still getting alerts emailed 3-4 times a day for homes in places I looked at and decided I did not want to live at. How can I eliminate all my searches and start over to get alerts only to areas I am interested in? Right now I have no searches save dat all.
Also in my searches I only checked that we were uintyerested in single family homes and keep getting alerts for manufactured homes, condos etc. We have NEVER been interested in foreclosures, condos or manufactured homes yet keep getting alerts for them and for homes way over the amount we can spend.

There are two locations for removing different types of alerts.

If you wish to find your saved searches, click on My Zillow ---> Profile ----> subscriptions ( this one on the left).   Under subscriptions you can manage E-mail alerts.

Then, if you have favorite homes,   go "My Zillow" ---> Profile ----> Favorite Homes.  You can uncheck two boxes per home (or remove the proprety from the list) as you prefer.
