If you have your home listed with an agent you can "claim" the house just as Wetdawg recommends. From that point, you should be able to go under the edit function & add more details about your home. If you are simply trying to edit information about your home prior to trying to sell it, you'll still need to claim your property.
Many times the "zestimate" of a home is based on simple public information and often lacks specific details regarding square feet & finishes & updates that may have been performed.
I have many times for my clients edited these facts and seen a very positive change in the "zestimate".
Good luck!

If your house is not on the market, the first step is to claim your home. (Your profile shows no claimed homes). In order to claim your home, hover your cursor over "edit" and chose "claim your home". Once you've done this, then the edit should work as per the instructional video.
If your house is on the market with an agent (or as a FSBO posted on another site feeding to Zillow), then edits have to be done on the originating site.

How do I get the edit to work? It does not work like the FAQ videos show.
