I'm glad you checked the county records to discover why Zillow reports the $1. I worked through a similar situation with a relative's home when it was transferred to a trust and recorded as $1. I provided the information and alerted Zillow that it was a transfer to a family trust (provided link to county records), and now it has an asterisk by it that says "not included in Zestimate calculations". So, if you provide the link to the county records and the comment it was adding your wife to the deed you should see progress.

It looks as though I added my wife to the deed and it was recorded as a $1 sale. I have to imagine this doesn't help my zestimate. Is there any way to make sure this isn't depressing the value of my home according to Zillow?

Have you gone to your county assessor's records to see what they have recorded? If they have something in error, Zillow goes by county records. If their records are correct, try the flag again and provide a link to the accurate information at the official site.

How do I get wrong info removed from Price Listing? I've reported this error 3 times in 4 weeks.
