As stated in the previous responses, finding an agent to represent you would be the first step. You can find agents in your area through Zillow and research as many as you need to until you find one that you feel will represent you well. Once you select an agent, your agent can provide you with information on the listing your inquiring about and take you on a showing if you're still interested. Best of luck to you on your home search!

Smart question.  There is good advice below.  You should have your own agent working only for you in any transaction.  A professional Realtor will be able to answer all questions about each property, compare features, and prepare two vitally important analyses on each property for you:  a CMA (Comparative Market Analysis) and a PTA (Price - Trend Analysis).  Interview two or three Realtors.  Since they are working for you, you want to find out what they do to earn their commission (even though the commission is paid by the seller).  You want to make sure they have done numerous deals like yours.  As a prospective buyer in today's low inventory market, it is important that you that a top-notch Realtor working for you every day!  Good luck with your search!

The majority of buyers use a "buyer's agent" that will fill them in on any information and status of the property. If you are interested in buying the property that usually means you are ready for showings and writing offers. In order to do that you need a Realtor that takes care of all that start-to-finish for you. The exception would be if you purchase from a FSBO listing on Zillow.

The seller pays our commission so it costs you nothing to work with us. Either the listing broker will pay us, or you work directly with the listing agent. If you do work with the listing agent keep in mind that they will try to take advantage of you, because their sole job is to work with the seller.

A buyer's agent sole job is to work for the buyer. That is why most home buyers elect to use one. I would love the opportunity to hear about your goals and needs, so if interested the next step would be to check out my profile/testimonials from past clients and contact me.

Good Luck!

There should be some contact information on the listing page but I agree with wetdawgs in that getting your own agent is the best thing for you. If you send me the address I can look into the property for you.

Contact information for the listing agent or owner (for FSBO) will be found on the home details page for listings that are for sale.

It may be prudent to first find a buyer's agent to help you with contacts so you can have your own representation, and they can filter through listings that haven't been updated by the listing party.
