Be really careful about it, we tried to go that route with our home and crazies came out....especially from Craigs List. We got two low ball offers. What we did do was used an agent as a back up plan (which we eventually went with after being on the market for a long time) She helped guide us when we were for sale by owner showing us how to market.

There are several ways, but the ones I'd chose are either:
Open your home details page, then click on "post for sale/rent" by the little red house icon (just below the home details) and follow the instructions. This costs $39.95/180 days.
Or, put it on postlets. for no charge.
The first choice makes it a featured listing and it sorts towards the top of the search list when someone is searching in your area and it allows more photos. The second one is free and syndicates with a lot more sites.
