The MLS requires, that its use is to be used by Licensed Realtors, who have paid a fee for its use. Thus you will need to hire a Realtor to post your property on the MLS

Use a Realtor and reap many benefits that most people do not consider.
Realtors know many things about disclosing defects and selling strategies that will end up netting you more money and keeping you out of court !

Hire a Realtor who does Flat-Fee to work for you if that's the Option you choose

You have Options as a Consumer so become aware and informed

Every Consumer (Buyer/Seller) should read the Information on the Department Of Justice Anti-Trust Division Web Site about all the options Consumers actually have
New business models are emerging that allow consumers to save thousands of dollars when they buy or sell a home

How exciting !!! You are moving ? GREAT news. This can be the most important step of the entire process. The best way to list on MLS is to hire a very experienced agent who will advise you on getting your home prepared and ready for pictures. Everything you do PRIOR to the activation is crucial. once your pictures are out on the Internet, there is no way to retrieve them back, You only have ONE time to make the best impression. The listing agent is free to you UNTIL they sell and bring you a net off and terms you can accept.their expertise in how to market it ,prepare it ,present it are invaluable in getting the most money for your home. Hence their Brokerage fee will be more than covered when they can seller the home quicker and for more money. I never like limited services where someon just lists the home on MLS. That is NOT selling a home? Without an experienced Listing agent to go along with the sale, the rest of the service is left to inexperienced dialogue ,miscommunication, and scenarios that will be a first time adventure for a seller. It cannot be left to chance. All the best and Good luck

The MLS (Multiple Listing Service) is a service of local real estate boards.
In my area of Citrus County, Florida all postings are from members of the board. A Realtor is required.
