How do I report a home improvement project on my home?

On my project, the carpets were replaced with 5 1/2" wide real hardwood floors.  Tile was laid in the kitchen and in the two bathrooms.  The original kitchen counter top was replaced with quartz stone.  Both brass fans were replaced with bronze fans.  The brass chandler in the dining area was also replaced with a bronze fixture.

No permit needed on the items you mentioned.  unless you change the structure of your home or made additions to the house, there is no need for a permit to update flooring and light fixtures & countertops.

Unless you changed the "structure" or "added a room" there is no permit required.   Updating carpets/flooring
and changing light fixtures does not require a permit.
