"I think posting his name in your comment will pretty much take care of him for a short while." -
Genie; I didn't post anything derogatory nor disturbing; I only referred to the U.S. Fair Housing Act, and U.S Fair Lending Act, and some of the city and state additions to those laws for those specific areas, and noted that any "discrimination" that was not specifically listed as illegal is not illegal.
I also later posted that it would be interesting to test those laws on a couple finer points that have contradictory existing laws, but that it would be too much trouble for me to bother.
And I posted a "sample" of a "discrimination" claim on numerous grounds that had nothing to do with the U.S. Fair Housing Act, and thus would not be valid discrimination complaints; as a form of "humor".
There was no attacking of any kind.
Now, as for taking care of me... were you going to pay for some care givers to come to my house to help me out? Are they bonded and insured?
(And yes, Joan is absolutely correct, that I tend to be a literalist, even when a literal interpretation of a statement would be extremely humorous.
Yes, I understand hyperbole in context; but not when it is in promises or "I will" statements).
Oh, and by the way, the original poster had posted on his profile that the U.S. was "finished"; so I agreed with him, and suggested rather than trying to fix it, we should just start over.

moveonfromhere,
I really think you would benefit from taking your tag name to heart.
I am truly sorry that you feel discriminated against. However, you have shown a marked lack of self perception and assumptions about people that frankly will only lead to more misery if you don't take a good long look in the mirror.

I hear your perceived wrong, but I seems to me that you are the one who was abusive to others in their posts. If you were looking for acceptance for that behavior, maybe you are right and another site would have been a better fit for you.
Or maybe U still haven't found what you're looking for...

I have no obligation to take abuse from anyone... and for your information... my claim is being investigated by HUD. None of you are my "neighbors" in any way, shape, or form. This site is no different than YOUTUBE and some of the responses I have read on videos there. I apologize for nothing. This site is an example of how freedom of speech is a myth.

FYI:
this poster also referred to agents or Realtors as parasites. I think it might have said we were blood sucking parasites but it's been removed by moderators. that was on his profile.

"I would rather not know since it didn't happen to me. I will just take your word for it. I don't look for drama! Take care. :))"
I also prefer to avoid drama. However, ostrich-ing when a 5-minute investment of time can make you better informed about something you've already stepped into seems a poor approach.
If you had taken the time, you'd have come up with this basic synopsis...
1 - The OP started with the premise that they had been "swindled" in a RE deal and wanted to slam the REA involved.
2 - Most of the responses went to the fact that the seller has the right to accept any offer, and was not required to accept the OP's offer because "it was the highest" (note: OP didn't substantiate this statement).
3 - The OP then rolled out the fact that they were handicapped, and this must have factored into the "swindling".
4 - There was some discussion about whether or not the OP could demonstrate that they were actually discriminated against (i.e., the reason their offer was turned down was because...).
5 - Somewhere in the mix, it was eventually determined that the OP was trying to post about the listing REA, not the REA they had used - which Zillow doesn't allow. Earlier in the thread, Zillow had already posted that the OP had violated a Zillow review policy and encouraged the OP to retry.
6 - As the thread went on, there was some hi-jacking as side discussions occurred, but, at no time did any of the comments turn derogatory. At worst, some of the posts pointedly questioned whether or not the OP could prove discimination.
It took me much longer to type this post than it did to scan the responses on that thread. My point? Maybe just that, if you choose to post in any forum, sometimes taking a few minutes to understand the context within which you are posting is the "responsible thing to do".

I think posting his name in your comment will pretty much take care of him for a short while. Don't give up on the site.I did not see the original posting but please keep in mind, some people answering questions here are not licensed and bonded in the State of Oregon, they just like real estate and like to help.
We all take our own time here to help. Find someone that you trust that is licensed, and let them help you. Take care.

May you have a good and happy life after you move on from here. Never any more anger, or harassment (although there was none here) or frustration.
Sometimes in life we don't hear answers we want to hear, but that doesn't mean those answers aren't giving us an opportunity to grow.

You can use the small white flag at the corner of any post box to "flag" a post. The flag sends an alert to Zillow's moderators to review. If the content is abusive or outside of the Good Neighbor Policy, Zillow will remove it or take other action.
I read every one of your threads, all your replies and all of Pasadenan's replies here. Many people both members of the public and agents tried to help answer your question. I did not see any namecalling or insults from anyone other than the post where you called all agents "moronic". Did I miss something?

I flagged your post and hopefully that will attract Zillow's attention but there is no guarantee that they will delete it.
Seriously, you need to take responsibility for your own behavior on here. People, agents and non agents, volunteer their time on this site to answer questions from consumers such as yourself. You have every right to take from it what you wish and leave behind that which you feel has no usefulness for you but insulting people who wanted nothing more than to help you is only putting yourself in a bad light.
Your anger is palpable. Maybe you have a reason for your anger but it is possible it is displaced and shouldn't be directed at the very people who attempted to help you.
Pasadenan may come across as arrogant and sometimes insulting partially because he is very literal. His perspective may be very different from your own and I don't always agree with the way what he says things and how he says it, sometimes he does cross a line, but if you took the time to read his contributions you would see that he also has a lot you can learn from. If you don't like what he says, ignore it or flag it.
I am sorry that things didn't work in your favor when you put in the bid on that property. Negative energy attracts negative energy and the same goes for positive. Try exuding positive energy and perhaps things will go more in your favor. Anger rarely works.
I truly wish you the best.

How do I report abusive replies to my questions and block members who are harassing me. (pasadenan)
