Marissa/Julianna are correct about ensuring push notifications are enabled (in settings) - though those should be on by default.

To receive alerts from Zillow you also need to save a search in the Zillow iPhone app, so we know what to alert you about!

On the upper right corner of the map is a button with a heart on it - pressing that button will save your current search as a favorite, and new results on that search will be pushed to you. You can always get back to your saved searches by tapping on the Favorites Button in the bottom menu of the app.

Hope that helps!

Go into "settings" then go to "notifications," which should be the third option down. Then go to Zillow and turn alerts and/or badges off.
