How do I start the whole process all over?

My house has been listed for 596 days and technically it hasn't been for sale all that time.  Iwant to start it as a new listing...what do I do?

It really depends upon what you mean by starting all over again.  A realtor would need to look at the listing history to tell you why it shows as it does if you are referring to the MLS data.  In order for the clock to restart on the MLS, you would need to have the listing off market for more than 90 days.  In reality, even if you reset the marketing time to zero, any agent can and should look at the listing history and they will see all previous listings so you really have not affected anything except kept your property out of play for some time.  The real question you should be asking is why has your property been on the market for 596 days without selling.
