How do I update home facts?

I recently did a lot of updating my home.  New "Hardy" siding, new Brazilian wood back deck and railings, etc.  Does anyone know how to input the upgrades?

You know, my clients look at Zillow and other search engines for homes for sale, however, I always double check 'value' using my MLS system and we look at homes based on my information. Buyers will generally use a professional to purchase a home.

You need to make sure all the upgrades have been entered.  Claim your house if you haven't yet?  It does take a bit to catchup with the new data.

Zestimates are calculated off the core public facts on the home,  so if you've changed things such as size or room number the Zestimate may respond but it does take time.   It can be a few weeks to a few months.

The Zestimate does not calculate from upgrades such as hardy plank siding or a new deck.

Thanks so much!  I did it.  Does someone read these so it will effect (increase) my home value.  (We invested quite a lot of money)

The normal approach for upgrades and repairs such as you describe is the "my estimate" feature. Unfortunately Zillow took it off line for a few months to change it, and haven't announced a date when it will return

Go in to the top right, pull open My Zillow and claim your home. Once you do that, you can edit the home facts...
