How do i find out who the Bank/Mortgage holder is for a property?

My neighbor moved out and is letting her house go.  It has not been assigned to forclosure yet.  They tried to do a quick sale on the property but no one wanted to list it as it has had 3 flood insurance claims in 3 years.

You should be able to do a simple search on the website for your county clerk.

I would also contact an Insurance Agent to see if you will be able to obtain Home Owners Insurance based on the multiple claims.

Contact a local title company they should be able to provide documentation of the lien holder.  Ask your neighbor?
