when that freedom is abused by an incompetant organization acting in a dictatorial manner the way zillow behaves, they abrogate their right to ram their opinions down peoples throats with their phoney zestimates.

You are welcome to your opinion, as is Zillow. Apparently they don't agree (as I've said several times).
A pretty fundamental freedom in the US is our ability to express pur opinions. You are adamant that you have this freedom, don't others?

@wetdawgs
i have no problem with my home being shown on any website. I just have a problem with zillow showing a totally erroneous zestimate and refusing to correct it. I have said that over 400 times and will keep saying it until zillow getws the message

One can fight Zillow, or one can fight the source of the data - our government offices. If one fights Zillow, one will find that there are hundreds of websites with the same data, so make sure you go after them all. Sometimes the root cause is more effective, but if you chose not to go for the root cause you may find you are going after only a symptom, which claims freedom of speech and opinion.
Interestingly, the states where this information is not public have it controlled solely by the Realtors. That is even sadder situation, very sad. The "big secret" can come back to haunt.
I've not devised the perfect solution, nor have I seen it offered by any.

@Amy
Amy, let me save you a lot of aggravation - there is nothing you can do about this.
Nothing
Many will agree with your position.........that's about all they can do, too.
That's Debra's advice which is based on 1000's of people making the same request. I happen to disagree and will continue fighting zillow until they either remove or correct their unwanted inaccurate zestimate. I find it incredibly arrogant of them thinking they can ride roughshod over homeowners in the way they do like medevial barons, and it's time people stood up and demanded this nonsense either stops or is properly regulated. Keep on fighting them !!!!!

Don't threaten to sue or call a lawyer or waste any time..........it is what it is..........
Is your home listed for sale (claimed) by an agent?
If so, you CAN report that, and hope it is corrected.
You can also claim your home and edit incorrect information or improvements you have made.
If you are concerned simply that the house has a zestimate attached to it - the zestimate is here to stay!
Zillow staff might not be here, but here is an excerpt taken from FAQ's Wetdawgs provided:
" we do not remove publicly available property information from Zillow. Our mission is to empower consumers with information "

AmyGutteryMartin: You've posted your question on a long holiday weekend. At this point, no one who has responded has been from Zillow. Zillow employees have a green tag to the right of their posting name.

My house has no business being on your website or anyones else's site without my permission. We are not selling so it doesnt need to be where anyone can view it.

You do not....It seems that having it on their Site is a Public Service
CEO stated in this Forum Recently
"Regarding why we don't let owners opt their home out of Zestimates: we believe that providing home valuations, as imperfect as they might sometimes be, is in the public interest. Access to this type of information benefits the overall market, and frankly if real estate data including Zestimates had been more readily available in the 2003-2006 bubble era (which was pre-Zillow), perhaps we wouldn't be paying the price today in our overall economy. Information empowers people to make smarter decisions. This is true in every part of our economy, especially the ones where decisions are particularly important (e.g., health care, financial services, real estate). I truly believe that the real estate market is better off due to the information that Zillow provides."

I don't see a listing attached to your name. Do you mean the public information with (I'm assuming this is the real reason) a zestimate?
