How do we enter our own zestimate as owner.

When I attempt to do it nothing happens.  I either want to display my estimate or eliminate the one that is displayed now.

What you might want to consider if you are selling is to get an appraisal and post that in the remarks section along with the date the appraisal is done. Keep in mind, if another comparable home sells nearby, that will generally affect the appraised price...hopefully upward though as our market, at least here in the Raleigh area is on an upswing. We are more and more a sellers market.

There is an option for an owner estimate, which you can access by claiming your home and entering a number.  (The format needs to be like this  100000  not $100,000.00)   The owner estimate will not replace the Zestimate, but will show below the Zestimate table on the home details page.   Zillow will not remove their Zestimate (please see "Can I remove the Zestimate?")
