How do we get zillow to give our home an accurate or even reasonable zestimate?

I see that you recently updated our zestimate. It is still way under the mark, however. My agent has taken me to see the two other homes on my street that are listed with you. Both of these houses are currently priced at far less than your  zestimate .  It is clear to everyone who sees all three houses that ours is the best value of the three and yet your zestimate for our home falls way below both of the others.  This is not just my opinion. We have been told this by a number of agents who have visited all three homes. Our agent has even been told that we are asking too little by several of them. We were told directly by one agent that the other two homes would "sell our home", that they would be on the market for a long time at that price but that ours should sell quickly because we were so well priced. If we cannot get a reasonable estimate from you I am thinking of asking our agent to take our home off your site and just leaving us on sites like Trulia.  It would be better not to be on Zillow at all than to have people decide not to bother visiting our home because they think we are asking too much according to your valuation.  And frankly, I just don't like being treated so blatantly unfairly so would rather not deal with you at all if you can't be more accurate.  Feel free to call me at 509 467- 3136 so I can explain to you what the issues are or you can call our agent Mary Ann Guenther Bornhoft at 509 879-3779.  You can also look at the photos of our completely updated home, neither of which has been touched since they were built approximately twenty years ago. Compare square footage while you are at it and it should be clear to you how bizarre this situation is.

You can learn more about the Zestimate here.

You can learn more about the "my estimate" feature so that you can reflect the upgrades that are not part of Zillow's calculation.

go in and edit your question and remove your phone number and last name...or you will receive a number of calls from people. thats number one.
Number two, if you put your home on the market a professional agent will do a comparative market analysis to find the right suggested price for your home. Only a layperson would give any substance to Zillow or any of the other search engines that are similar. Zillow states that it is an estimate based on tax records etc, and not accurate market prices....so seriously, why sweat it.
Call a realtor, always, and put your house on the market with a professional. You say you are working with an agent??????? That agent knows this platform is just an estimate....
Good luck on your sale.
You can go in and claim your home and update facts though. See Zillows FAQ, top left column for more info.
