How do you change from one property to two after a short plat?

I had a home on ten acres.  I did a short plat to two 5 acre parcels.  There is a new address for the existing home and 5 acres.  The old address is now the new address for the new, vacant 5 acre lot.

It has been recorded for almost 2 years with the new information.

I guess I don't understand your question?  What do you want to change from one property to two?  If it's already recorded at the county, then you have two parcels.  However, if you short platted a property with a mortgage on it and you go to sell off one of the parcels, your mortgage company may have a problem with it because they now have a mortgage securing half the property they originally did.  Let me know more about your situation and I'm happy to provide any information I can.
