How do you change the value of your home if it is way too high

It says that my house is worth $196,000.  There is no way.  It is very old and needs a lot of repairs and needs to be updated.  Do not have the funds at this time to do this.

Claim your property and remove the agent that doesn't care about your passions to tell the truth. Then, estimate your own value with the tools that Zillow offers, it is really easy. You can include in the notes that there are necessary repairs and let the person interested decide if they want to make those repairs on their own. Sell your property that is the bottomline, you are on the right track, it is commendable to see your honesty. This is why I say it is better to buy direct from the sellers.

why do you care if it says $196k? it's not your current market value so it's irrelevant. save for the most vital repairs first. Have a checklist and see if a local charity would be willing to help(your church, habitat,etc.) best of luck.
