How do you determine that my home has "lost value" vs previous zestimate?

I checked my neighbors on either side of me, no major changes for any of us, and their decrease in value was much less than mine.  Confused!

Go down to the bottom of this page and open, "Zestimate Value & Accuracy." This should help. Regards,

My suggestion is not to worry about it.  The Zestimate is a guide at best and isn't a tool that any real estate professional would use to value property.

Hi,

I wouldn't put too much emphasis on the 'zestimate' value. Any local real estate agent will be happy to help you determine the exact value of your home based upon evaluating your home against the most recently sold in your neighborhood. Best of luck!

Frankly I think the problem here is Zillow's data is not always accurate. Zillow doesn't take in to account remodels, they haven't gone in these homes!  Take these "Zestimates" with a grain of salt and talk with an experienced Realtor when you are have questions about a local area.
